Stanley Martin Lieber - Stan Lee is an American comic-book writer, editor, film executive producer, and publisher. He started out his career working as an office boy for the Marvel Comics––which meant fetching lunch, proof reading and refilling artist's ink jars, eventually proving his creative talent, escalated from the position of interim editor and later its publisher and chairman before leaving the company to become its chairman emeritus, as well as a member of the editorial board. Career highlights include: creating the "Destroyer in Mystic Comics and Father TIme in Captain America Comics. Competing in late 1950 with DC Comics, he was asked to create a new superhero team, where he created the Fantastic Four. He created Spider Man in 1963, as well as a number of other memorable characters including: Daredevil, Scarlet Witch, Inhumans, Nick Fury, Black Panther, Hawkeye, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Black Widow, The Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, and X-Men. He was born on Dec 28, 1922 and he died on Nov 11, 2018.
